We took Jalen to the pool for the first time. He's always enjoyed bath time so we figured that he would like the water. He was a bit tentative when we first got in. He just wanted to sit in the water and soak in the sensation. Tyler, who also came with us, was a lot more adventurous. He was walking all over the place in the water. We also put a life jacket on Jalen and let him float by himself. He made a funny face because it was so sunny but he didn't complain at all. All in all, I think he's going to enjoy being the water some more when we go to Hawaii next week!
We went to a nice mini water park in Renton. They have a wave pool, wading pool, lazy river ride, lap pool and a water slide!

Jalen knew to hold his breath when his face is under water. We dipped him briefly in the water a few times.
He napped for 3 hours when he came home! He was pooped! Then we went to dinner with Jalen's grandma and grandpa.
