We stopped by the Baby Style store in Bellevue Square last weekend where they were having a store closing sale. Jalen saw all the cool car ride on toys they had and just started riding around in them like they were his! He had so much fun we just had to buy one for him.
Last weekend we went to Vancouver to visit Jalen's Grandma and Grandpa. Here's Jalen falling asleep in the car on the way back. I think it too less than 2 minutes after he got into the car to fall asleep.
Here's a video of Jalen eatings some orange slices. Then he says "cheers" because he has a bottle of milk and a bottle of juice and he likes to do "cheers" with himself. then when I asked him to show me how he does "cheers" he thinks I'm asking for the "chair" and brings over his chair.
Jalen's interest in cars has recently developed into an obsession. They've become his favourite things in the world. Well, hip hop music is probably a close second. Anyway, one day we were watching TV and there was a commercial on TV with a talking cartoon car. I think it was a Chevron commercial. Jalen understands that you can rewind TV because we have a DVR, so he asked to watch the commercial again and again. We decided to give our remote a rest and showed him the Disney Pixar movie "Cars". Since then, he's been asking to watch Cars everyday. We've showed him Kung Fu Panda and Finding Nemo but all he wants is Cars. Here's a video of him sitting back and enjoying his favourite movie.
